Helicopter Surveying
As part of the environmental assessment process for the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam, Queensland Water Infrastructure will undertake preliminary helicopter-based flora and fauna surveys of the river and surrounding land from October 4 to 6.

The helicopter surveys may involve some low flying, and will be undertaken in accordance with Queensland Water Infrastructure’s land access protocols to minimise disturbance to wildlife and livestock. Flying times will depend on weather conditions and other factors.
