There is a great event coming up - the Annual Kandanga 1000 Horse Trail Ride
19th and 20th September, run by Save the Mary River Coordinating Group

The Kandanga 1000 has happened every year since the proposed dam was announced (although equine influenza caused the event to be can celled one year).

This year, the Kandanga 1000 is based at Imbil Showgrounds. The Saturday night involves great entertainment, an auction spectacular and roast dinners, with proceeds going to the Paradise Dam Court Case fighting fund.

Camping is available at Imbil Showgrounds including HOT showers!

Donations of Auction items also gratefully received.

Sunday is the ride of 15-20km through the beautiful Mary Valley, starting approximately 9am

In previous years we have had riders from all over Queensland and we would love to have a record number of attendees at the ride and at the night-before concert.

Please send on to your networks and it would be great if you could print out one, or more, copies of the flyer and stick them onto appropriate notice boards so the word can be spread as wide as possible
